Back to Kentucky--May 6 (Day 24)

After exploring Madison today, we crossed the Ohio River again (back to Kentucky). I cycled 41 miles with 1,457 feet of climbing. 8.25 hours on the road (due to spending so much time in Madison).

I found the ride difficult for four reasons:

1) We were told it was a 25-mile ride. It was really 41 miles.

2) The road had no shoulder and was all broken up--right where the bicycle rides. There was no way to avoid the jarring bouncing and vibration because...

3) The road had heavy traffic.

4) All the excessive vibration exacerbated the problems I've been having with my sitz bones, my hands, and my feet.
